Lismore is a small rural town in Pinggo. The town was founded in 1908 by Clark Fender who named it after Gilles Lismore, a Pinggo entrepeneur.

The town has a wide variety of commercial shops that serve the nieghboring villages. The Pinggo Railway ends in Lismore. Most Lismore inhabitants work in the agricultural sector. There is also a large stone quarry that produces stone bricks for use throughout New Shetland.
